DIY Striped Bag Weaving Tutorial (PDF+VIDEO TUTORIAL)
This PDF pattern offers video tutorials to complate striped woven bag.
You can make it big enough to hold a few small items and a tumbler.
It shows you winding the yarn on the shuttle and the board, preparing the weaving yarn, weaving the stripes, making the handles, and finishing.
Striped bag: 18.5 x 24cm
Materials needed:
- Weaving Loom: You can make a paper weaving board using a template on the last page.
- Yarn: Use 1.5 to 2 mm thick yarn in 2 colors. I used multi-ply cotton thread for the sample.
- Sheet of paper(A4 size): Print out the weaving template.
- Tapestry Needle: A needle with a curved tip is easier to weave.
- Scissors: You can use any kind of scissors, but I recommend cutting only the yarn to avoid dulling it.
Depending on the type of yarn, the bag size may vary.
You can make a paper weaving board using a template.
The pattern includes two stripe patterns.
You can make the woven bag handles any length you want.
